Welcome the the Editor's Choice page. Started in April of 1997 by Mary Draganis, the Editor's Choice Award's showcase outstanding works by fan fiction authors.Feedback is very important to the writers, without your comments we wouldn't have close to this high level of writings and energy. Writings themselves come in so many flavours from vignettes, screenplays, short stories to Round Robins. With such a variety of writers and ideas, there have been whole branches of sub-genres that move from the humorous to the dark and emotional. Whether a story stems from an idea or a character, they should all challenge your perceptions or make you feel or enforce your sense of security. For the awards and reviews that are posted on the web, they cannot do enough to recognize the efforts of the bards. If you read a scene that you like or a character that calls to you, tell them! Sometimes it is knowing that your stories are being read that challenges the writers to try more, to try something new. Feed the Bards!Over the years we have had awards given by many of the editor's of this site and by 'guest readers' who have offered to step up to the stage (sorta speak). We would love to give an award to everybody who writes but that does take away the purpose of an award. This latest series is being awarded by Lynne Knowlton who has graciously offered to take on this monumental task.
