The Journey to Live Again

Her heart was in darkness,
Her soul adrift on a stormy sea
left to wander aimlessly yearning
to find the light and live again.

The Warrior thought it was her destiny
to wander alone in darkness forever.
The light eluded her.
Every path she took was filled with
coldness,death and torment.

Till the day the Light Bearer came
and drove the darkness away.
She taught the Warrior the warmth of friendship,
the comfort of trusting and the joy of love,
so that the Warrior would learn to love and trust again.

With the love of the Light Bearer the darkness
in the Warrior was filled with light and her heart
and soul rejoiced for The Warrior had found her reason
to live again.
