I hope that this poem, to whatever extent, shows the respect and admiration that I (and I think we) feel about our Amazon Bard and the exceptional lady who brings her to life. And if, by some miracle, she sees this all I can say is, simply, Thank you.

For four years now we've watched her grow
A soul so pure it seems to glow
A smile so bright it lights the way
For all of us night or day

She's taught us all how we should be
Strong and brave and living free
Kind and careing and loveing too
An example of what we all should do

Defend the weak and help the poor
Do what you can and then do more
Fight injustice and right the wrongs
That's why she has admiring throngs.

A shining beacon in this dark land
Showing us how to take a stand
And when and if it all should end
Her name will echo down the wind
