Good-bye my Warrior!
Farewell dear mate, dear belovd!
You are departed, hence,
I know where,
And to what fortune.
Still, I may ever see you again within
Dreams of Elysium.
Now for my lastlet me glance
Beyond this moment;
Long have we savored, desired, caressed together;
Delightful!
Now pause
Good-bye my Warrior.
Long indeed we have lived,
Slept, become singularly merged into one,
Piloting me to uncorrupted refrains
Of songs resonating our life, our love,
(yes, we shall remain one).
I draw you close to me,
I cannot let you go.
You refuse to wake at my touch,
enveloped
In the sleep of heroes
and bards.
Our song remains in my spirit;
Beyond this flash of sorrow,
I call to you
Dear Xena.
Hear me in Elysium,
Hear me in your heart.
Good-bye. . .
For now,
My Warrior.
