Even the solace
Of writing my feelings
Has been denied me
The words are an
Incoherent jumble
Lacking sense.
And I lack the ability
To rise above
These feelings.
To give voice to my fears
And my desires.
How off balance
I feel
Like walking the edge
Of a cliff
Knowing that I
Have but to take
A few steps back
To be on solid ground
Yet I am drawn
To the edge
And the dangerous fall
That lies beyond.
